Frequently asked questions

What is a travel eSIM?

A digital SIM profile you install on a compatible phone, so you can use mobile data abroad without swapping a physical SIM.

When does my eSIM’s validity start?

It depends on the plan. Some start on installation; others on their first network connection. Each plan page shows its activation policy.

Can I top up without installing another eSIM?

Eligible eSIMs can receive compatible top-ups through your account. Availability depends on the provider, plan, and eSIM status.

How do I install an eSIM?

Open your eSIM's installation details in My Orders. On iPhone, go to Settings › Mobile Service (or Cellular) › Add eSIM and scan the QR code; on Android, look for Add eSIM under Settings › Connections or Network › SIM manager. Menu names vary by model. Install on Wi-Fi before you travel, then switch the eSIM on and turn on data roaming when you arrive.

Is my phone eSIM compatible?

Most recent iPhone, Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy models support eSIM, but some models sold in certain regions do not. Your phone must also be carrier-unlocked. Check for an Add eSIM option in your phone's mobile or SIM settings before buying.

Can I keep my Singapore number while using a travel eSIM?

On a dual-SIM phone you can keep your Singapore SIM on for calls and SMS and use the travel eSIM for mobile data. Turn off data roaming on your Singapore line so its roaming charges don't apply to data.

What should I check before paying?

Confirm your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked, then check coverage, data allowance, validity, and the final checkout total. Delivery and refund terms
